January 23rd, 2023 | 54 mins 51 secs
alexa pano, augusta national women's amateur, epson tour, golf, golf podcast, lpga tour, new england patriots, titleist
My guest on this episode is Alexa Pano. She was featured in the 2013 Netflix documentary "The Short Game" along with Amari Avery and Sky Sudberry as they competed in the 2012 U.S. Kids Golf World Championship. Yes, that was over 10 years ago. That's how long the junior and amateur golf landscape has been aware of Alexa Pano. What has she done since then? She's played in all three ANWAs. She played an event on the LPGA of Japan Tour at the age of 11. Two years later, she made her debut on the LPGA Tour. She's qualified for U.S. Women's Opens. Junior Ryder Cups, Junior Solheims Cup, 5X AJGA All-American......her junior golf resume is in a word...legendary.....But now, it's time for Alexa to go to work. She turned professional right after last year's ANWA and after narrowly missing out on earning her card after a successful year on the Epson Tour.....she got through LPGA Tour Q-Series.....and locked up her card. Not bad for an 18 year-old that has spent the last decade in the public eye.
